BOOK TRUCK SAFETY

DO NOT DOUBLE STACK TRUCKS

DO NOT PLACE BOOKS ON TOP OF EACH OTHER

DO NOT LOAD ON ONE SIDE

DO LOAD ON CENTER

DO FILL EACH LEVEL FULLY

Always load book truck starting with the bottom shelf first

PROPER BOOK TRUCK HANDLING TECHNIQUES

PUSH FROM ONE END

DO NOT PUSH FROM THE SIDES

DO NOT PULL TRUCKS

DO NOT HANDLE TWO TRUCKS AT ONE TIME

DO NOT CLIMB OR SIT ON BOOK TRUCKS

ALWAYS BE ALERT OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS

DO NOT TAKE BOOK TRUCKS DOWN A RAMP ALONE

DO NOT LEAVE BOOK TRUCKS UNATTENDED

BE CAREFUL WHEN ENTERING OR LEAVING ELEVATORS

DO NOT TRY TO STOP A FALLING TRUCK
